To properly align the safety measures in your building or plant with the risks, the correct identification of hazardous zones is of great importance. Our experts achieve this through what is known as ATEX zoning.
Under the ATEX directive, zones are classified into categories: zones 0, 1, and 2 for gas and vapor environments, and zones 20, 21, and 22 for dust environments.
Depending on the zone, appropriate measures are specified to be implemented within that specific area to eliminate or minimize the explosion hazard as much as possible.
